I recently stayed at Kamana Sanctuary Resort & Spa with my family, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The spacious rooms and gorgeous bay views were highlights. however, a few issues with cleanliness in the shower and the restaurant service were disappointing.

Rooms

My room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower. I particularly appreciated the water cooler in the hallway, providing convenient filtered water.
Service
6.0
While the staff were friendly and welcoming, the service at the restaurant could be improved. During my visit, I noticed delays in assistance and issues with the staff being attentive.
Location
8.0
The resort's location offers amazing views of the bay, and it's a peaceful retreat away from the bustling city. though the entrance can feel a bit remote with other establishments nearby.
Dining
7.0
I found the food to be decent but somewhat limited in variety. and the prices felt a tad steep at times. The breakfast buffet was okay but nothing lovely.
Facilities

The infinity pool area was lovely with comfortable lounge chairs and great views, but I did notice some maintenance issues like the drainage at the rinse-off station not working properly.

My stay at Kamana Sanctuary Resort & Spa was good overall, with generous room sizes and friendly staff enhancing my experience. However, I did encounter some challenges, like the rocky beach that required caution when swimming. While I enjoyed the facilities, the limited dining options and slower service at the restaurant could use some improvement.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and can easily accommodate a group of 6. I especially appreciated the clean and well-maintained casitas that offered stunning views.
Service

The staff were always professional and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. Carla, in particular, provided excellent service at the restaurant.
Location

Nestled inside a rainforest, the peaceful surroundings made for a serene getaway. However, it was a bit of a trek from the main area, so I made sure to stock up on supplies beforehand.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were good, though a bit pricey and limited in variety. The buffet breakfast was enjoyable, but I wished there were more choices available for lunch and dinner.
Facilities

The resort offered great amenities, including a clean pool with a beautiful view. However, I did find the beach area to be somewhat rocky, which made swimming a bit tricky.

I had a lovely time at Kamana Sanctuary Resort & Spa, enjoying the spacious and clean rooms with amazing beach views. However, the dining experience left something to be desired, with limited food selections and long wait times. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but improvements in service training would enhance the overall experience.

Rooms
8.0
My room was quite spacious and clean, with no foul smells at all. I appreciated the big cabinets and the comfy bed, and being able to open the veranda for easy access to the grounds was a nice touch.
Service
7.0
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, definitely providing a level of service I would expect from a higher-end resort. Though, at times, the front office and restaurant service could have been more attentive.
Location
9.0
The resort is located right on the beach, surrounded by beautiful rainforest. Everything felt serene and relaxing, perfect for a quick getaway from the busy city.
Dining
6.0
While the food was delicious, I found the menu selections somewhat limited and the prices steep. Wait times for dining were longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating.
Facilities

The facilities were nice, with a lovely swimming pool and beach access, but there could be improvements in terms of space management during busy times.

My stay at Kamana Sanctuary Resort & Spa was a mixed bag. The casita I booked offered amazing views of the mountains and beach, which were truly special. but I found the service and amenities not quite up to par with my expectations given the price. While the food was tasty, I felt it could use more variety and the beach had its challenges with stones and jellyfish. Overall, the natural beauty made it worthwhile, but improvements in various areas would enhance the experience.

Rooms
8.0
The casita was spacious and clean. I loved the mountain and beach views. However, the placement of the air conditioner was less than ideal, blowing directly on my head at night.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally friendly and quick to respond. though I experienced some inconsistencies in service, especially regarding the dining staff.
Location
7.0
Being nestled in the rainforest was beautiful. but I felt a bit unsettled driving through the dark, narrow roads to get there. It felt a bit remote at times.
Dining
6.0
The buffet breakfast was substantial and quite good. but I wish there were more options on the menu for lunch and dinner.
Facilities
7.0
While the hotel was clean and nice. some facilities, like the pool, felt too small and crowded.

My stay at Kamana Sanctuary Resort & Spa was quite relaxing and peaceful, though I had a few hiccups. The location is incredibly serene, surrounded by nature, but getting there can be a bit tricky. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but I did notice some downsides with food pricing and room upkeep. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but there's room for improvement.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, accommodating my family well. However, some furniture seemed outdated and scratched.
Service
10.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted me with a smile, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.
Location
8.0
The resort's location is unique, nestled in the rainforest and adjacent to the beach, offering a private and exclusive atmosphere, though it is quite far from commercial areas.
Dining
6.0
The buffet breakfast was satisfying, featuring a range of options, but I found the food prices a bit steep for the variety available.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the pool were enjoyable, especially with the warm water, but the beach area had many stones, making it tough to swim.
